Rich Earth™ - Directions For Use

The advantages of Rich Earth™ over other organic fertilizers are varied and compelling. Rich Earth™ is odorless and will not burn plants, even when applied directly to roots, leaves, or flowers. There are no limitations to its use, so Rich Earth™ can be used widely throughout your landscape and garden. What’s more, because it’s so concentrated, you need only a small amount of Rich Earth™ to dramatically improve your plants - making Rich Earth™ a leader in price-performance as well. If you are using other types of fertilizer or compost, Rich Earth™ can be an effective catalyst to your existing program.

Lawns, Landscapes & Gardens

Apply Rich Earth™ to fertile soil at a rate of 1 lb. per 100 square feet., 10 lb. per 1000 square feet, or 500 lb. per acre. If soil is of average quality, increase the amount of Rich Earth™ by 50%; if soil is poor, double the amount of Rich Earth™. Mix or till the soil before planting.

Note:  If you have been using chemical fertilizers and want to transition to an all natural lawn, landscape, or garden, we recommend gradually decreasing the use of chemicals by 25% per year.

Vegetables and Plants

Using the direct method, simply place 1 teaspoon of Rich Earth™ at the bottom of a hole you’ve created for the plant.

Potted Plants

For potted plants, use 5 teaspoons (1 ounce) of Rich Earth™ for each pound of potting soil or approximately 1 ounce of Rich Earth™ per six inches pot diameter. Add the same amount of Rich Earth™ to the pot twice yearly for maintenance.
