Rich Earth™
and Humates/Humic Acids
Humates/Humic Acids are the result of decomposed
prehistoric plant and animal matter. Rich Earth™ comes from
one of the richest humate mines found to date. Located in southeastern Utah,
where dinosaur bones are unearthed nearby, this once lush plant-life
layer was virtually “sealed” by volcanic eruptions millions of years
ago. Because of the dry, arid desert region, rain did not leach out
any of its nutrients or vital fulvic acids.
The humates found within Rich
Earth™ have the following qualities:
-
Provide 70 trace minerals for plant health and by extension, for human health.
- Act as a catalyst for absorbing existing nutrients in the soil.
-
Deliver powerful buffering acids to protect soils pH.
-
Improve soils characteristics: stimulates existing micro organisms, aerates, and improves water retention.
Three Essential Acids found within Rich Earth™
As plant matter decomposes, peat is created first, then humate, lignite and,
eventually, coal. Rich Earth™ is humate, a collection of three acids -
each with role to play in plant health:
-
Humic acids enable plants to extract nutrients from the
soil.
- Ulmic acids stimulate and increase root formation and
growth.
- Fulvic acids gives plants strength to withstand stresses
caused by pests, dry weather, and cutting.
Collectively, humate helps aerate the soil, improves water retention, and
increases cation exchange (the electrical energy capacity of the soil). Because the minerals in Rich Earth™ were part of living organisms at one
time, they are immediately absorbable into existing plants. The result
will be more beautiful, shrubs, lawns, flowers, fruits and vegetables -
naturally!
