"Thank you for the delivery of Rich Earth we received last week.  We intend to use your product again this year, as the results we observed were encouraging to say the least.  Over the past years we have had problems with the boxwood in our gardens reaching "old age"  which is nothing new for boxwood.  However, with the onset of the drought coupled with a significant reduction in our staff, we have been taxed to keep our plantings healthy.  Since using Rich Earth, it feels like we have added to our staff.  The regular bronzing and decline we typically experience during our winters did not occur.  The boxwood at the Palace showed remarkable improvement, even though this past winter was the worst we have had in recent years.  I am anxious to include Rich Earth as a regular part of our maintenance.  Thanks again for offering such a great product."

"We've really enjoyed using your Rich Earth™ product at the Gardens . . .there's a noticeable difference in the growth and health of the rose bushes. I think it's doing a great job!"
-Al Lutz, Rosarian, Norfolk Botanical Gardens

... "Thanks for the terrific Rich Earth!   Here is proof that it worked!  Last year, my ordinary chrysanthemums just grew and grew with the added Rich Earth - a fantastic sight!  and they're on their way back this year.   The other side without Rich Earth just faded away.  They didn't even make it for the photo I enclosed. What a super difference Rich Earth has made.

"Last year my daughter, Anne McDaniel, who works for the North Carolina Co, furniture store in Virginia Beach, VA., sent me several small bags of Rich Earth.

Anne has a degree in horticulture from the University of Michigan.  Our family came from Germany and I have some of the original rose shrubs that my grandparents brought with them in 1915.  I grow tomatoes and a small vegetable garden every year.  I put some of the Rich Earth in with the soil I planted tomatoes.  Much to my surprise I seemed to have over a dozen on one plant alone.  I also grew some other vegetables and the first time in years won a Blue Ribbon at the Michigan State Fair for my Rich Earth tomatoes!  I also sprinkled my front lawn and even the chemical lawn service rep asked me what I put on the lawn to make it look so good.

This year Anne sent me a 50 lb. bag of Rich Earth and I can't wait until I see the results!

After before "When we went to redo our garden this year we were introduced to a new product in our area. . .Rich Earth.  Skeptical at first, we decided to give it a try figuring it couldnt hurt.  Last year we had a successful garden in both flowers and vegetables.

This year, after applying Rich Earth, everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, was larger, flowers were more plentiful with vibrant colors and the vegetables are also doing super.  We highly recommend Rich Earth to all gardeners.  Enclosed are pictures of proof positive.  Compare last years garden to this years Rich Earth garden! "
Thank you for a great product!
-Curt Capozzello and Jane Deyo Virginia Beach, VA
P.S.  It also worked on reseeding of our lawn!

"Hi--Just wanted to let you know how much I have enjoyed using your product! I received a sample from you last fall and used it on my orchids and houseplants. I am using it currently diluted in water for my seedlings first fertilizer feedings. Wow! I'm very pleased with the results. I can get Rich Earth here locally in Elizabeth City, NC. A gal who works there recommended it when I met her at a social function. I have just put in a 10 x 14 foot bog garden and will be adding some Rich Earth to the mix. I'm not sure of how much to add so will play it by ear. I just wanted to let you know that I have told many people about it and since I am an organic gardener it has just been the ticket! "
-Jan Hepworth - Elizabeth City, NC

"By adding Rich Earth our seeds come up three times faster and healthier. Our vegetables taste great, the minerals in the soil makes them much sweeter! "
-Ken and Terry Keiger, Whaleyville (Organic) Farm, Suffolk, VA

"I tried everything on my gardenia - yellow leaves. One application of Rich Earth made a noticeable change and after the second time, all the leaves were green and I had an abundance of large flowers. "
-Linda Price, Wedgwood Gardens, Norfolk, VA

"Every year I plant lots of pansies in the fall so I have color in front of my house throughout the dreary winter. On my porch, I decorate with many containers and tiered stands for potted plants. This year, everyone noticed that the pansies on my porch were bigger and more beautiful than ever! The only thing I used in each pot with the pansies was plain potting soil and a little Rich Earth. I have enclosed a few photos of the fantastic pansies to share with you. Now, I'm a believer and will always use Rich Earth!"
 -Sharon Ashby Norfolk, VA

"Liz, I just wanted you to know how impressed I am with Rich Earth.  This past summer, I planted a small garden, which included tomatoes, oriental eggplant, cucumbers and squash. When I planted each plant, I put a small quantity of Rich Earth in the hole. The garden plot was loaned to me by the school where my wife teaches.  The only trouble with it was that access to water was limited, and, as you know, we suffered a terrible drought this past summer.    Despite the lack of rain and proper irrigation, I was amazed at how productive my little garden was! We got so many eggplants we couldn't eat them all ourselves--from just six plants! I can only attribute its success to the Rich Earth.  I can't wait to see how a garden will do with Rich Earth and proper water this year! Thank you!"
 -Gary Ball - Chesapeake, VA

"Thanks so much for all the samples of the Rich Earth mineral supplement. We tried the Rich Earth in our own vegetable gardens here at the nursery. As a casual experiment, we planted one raised bed of tomatoes with the Rich Earth and one with our usual fertilizer regimen - and did the same with two matching beds of pepper plants. I was impressed to see the deep green of the Rich Earth treated plants - as well as with the large and healthy fruits we harvested. We've never had such luck with peppers. We believe it definitely makes up for some of our soil deficiencies.
This year we plan to experiment with the Rich Earth to see if we can measure a difference when it is applied to our nursery container stock - either solo or in addition to our regular time-release fertilizer.
I'm delighted to have a natural supplement that we can recommend to our website customers who are organic growers and therefore prefer not to use chemical fertilizers. "

"Thought you might like to see our "super elfin" impatiens. Apparently they like Rich Earth...a lot. As you can see these "dwarf" plants dwarf our cat!"

"I live in a townhouse in Yorktown, VA and the Rose bush in the picture is just 2 years old. Last year I used a brand name rose food-as I had for several years with my other roses-and my flowers did fairly well. Of course, I had to feed them several times a season to keep them going. Near the end of March, I decided to try Rich Earth and within a short time I was amazed as to how my rose bushes were thriving like never before. Though I am not an environmentalist by nature, the fact that Rich Earth is organic-and therefore non-polluting-is a definite plus.

This Fall I plan on over seeding my small front lawn and I already know I will be using Rich Earth as my only fertilizer. Now if I could only obtain the organic weed killer Liz talked about, I'd really be happy.  I'll keep you posted as to how my roses do. Take Care."

BJ Leiderman Grows Award-Winning Tomatoes with Rich Earth!

National Public Radio composer BJ "Black Thumb" Leiderman stunned his North Virginia Beach neighbors by producing the first ripe tomato of Spring 2000. Leiderman, who was previously noted for his failure to successfully grow even a Chia-Pet, achieved this miracle with the help of Rich Earth™.

"I was afraid to get into gardening, given my history with living matter," said Leiderman, "but I had heard how easy it was to use Rich Earth™ and I thought I'd cast my seeds to the wind. I simply turned the soil, dug my holes, threw in a few spoonfuls (yes, spoonfuls) of Rich Earth™, and popped in my seedlings."

The, uh, fruits of Leiderman's labors is shown above; a beautiful 1930 Depression-Buster tomato, long before anyone in the neighborhood even had buds!
Now, when Leiderman swears, he swears by Rich Earth!

"This winter was very destructive to my lawn. I was very concerned that
my lawn would be patchy and brown. During my last visit to Virginia I
brought a sample of Rich Earth back home to Massachusetts with me. I put
the sample into my Christmas Cactus that hadn't bloomed in 2 years.
About a week later, it bloomed so profusely I knew that I needed to try
it on my lawn."
 -Mary Fahey of Massachusets
